Step by step

Pick your app.Three steps, then sign in.

Chat apps connect through a custom connector and sign in with your account. Coding agents connect with one command or a few lines of config.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Advanced, and turn on developer mode.
  2. 2Create a connector named Loadout and paste the address below.
  3. 3Sign in with your Loadout account when asked.

Claude

  1. 1Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. 2Choose “Add custom connector”, name it Loadout and paste the address below.

On Grok Business or Enterprise, a team admin adds the connector first in the xAI console.

Muse

  1. 1In a Muse chat, ask it to create a custom connector named Loadout for the server address below.
  2. 2Follow the steps Muse gives you and sign in with your Loadout account.
  3. 3You can see or remove it later in Settings, then Connectors.

Do I need an API key?+

Only for Codex. Chat apps and Claude Code sign in with your Loadout account, so there's nothing to paste or keep safe.

Can I use Loadout in more than one app?+

Yes. Add it to as many apps as you like. They share one account, one credit balance and what Loadout knows about your business and clients.

Why does ChatGPT need developer mode?+

ChatGPT keeps custom connectors behind developer mode until an app is listed in its app directory. Turning it on takes one switch in Settings.

How do I remove it?+

Remove the connector in the app's settings, the same place you added it.
